Chub & Bug 2.0 -- The New Revamped Website
After much fuss and ado, we’re excited to announce our new website and blog are finally here! It’s taken months of work, but we’re super proud of what we’ve accomplished. We hope this new website will not only enhance our customers' experience with Chub & Bug, but will also enable them to find what they need faster. We’re also going to be leveraging the website for exclusive deals and discounts for our newsletter subscribers. The website is now organized into 6 primary sections, which include Wall Art, Toys & Gifts, and School Supplies, Twins Shop, Blog and Free Coloring Pages.
Toys & Gifts
In this area of the website, you’ll find all of our latest products to help delight and inspire kids and adults who are kids at heart. We have a whole section dedicated to Puzzles and another dedicated to Coloring Books & Pages, both “low-fi” toys and activities that can help ground your child and help them reconnect with the physical world around them. We’re big on illustration and coloring and in Toys & Gifts you’ll find some of our most popular coloring pages. In fact, we just recently launched our full-length fashion coloring book “The Roaring 20s: The Golden Age of Paris Fashion.” Shortly we’re going to be adding a Paper Dolls section to help kids learn the pleasure of playing with real paper dolls that you can touch with your hands--to help them get back into real-world experiences. We hope the Toys & Gift section will be a wonder for kids and their big-kid parents to explore, especially during the Holidays and Christmas.
Wall Art & Decor
In our Wall Art and Decor section, you can find exclusive paintings and hand-illustrated artwork as well as photography prints for your kids nurseries, bedrooms and playrooms. You find an assortment of art ranging from fantasy--unicorns, mermaids and fairies--to warm baby animals-- safari and woodland--to futuristic exploration with Lego and space. As always we will continue to create art that will inspire your kids to dream big. To help them stay close to art and even, perhaps, become artists themselves. One of my favorites is our new Safari Animal Print Set, which is filled with adorable baby safari animals, such as a baby lion, baby elephant, baby zebra, baby giraffe, and a baby gorilla and cheetah. Our Wall Art & Decor area is likely to be the section of the website where you can find the most savings, due to large print sets that enable you to save as much as 50% off of your purchase.
School Supplies
School supplies represent some of our customers favorite products. In this area of the website, you’ll be able to find all of your old favorites, including adorable backpacks, precious notebooks, and pencil pouches. Our backpacks are especially popular, especially for sisters and twins, with many matching or themed backpacks. If your little ones love mermaids, no problem--we’ve got them covered. We have three charming mermaid backpacks that are perfect for sisters! We’ll soon be adding new school supplies--our new backpack and lunchbox combos. Twins Shop
It’s no secret I’m an identical twin and that I’m a mother of twins. What you may not know is that I actually wrote my PhD dissertation on Twins too, so you could say I’m something of an expert on the subject. Growing up as a twin it was frustrating not to see twinship represented in the world--there were virtually no books, toys, or decor for twins. At Chub & Bug my aim is to correct that and provide moms of multiples with a twin-centric shopping experience for their kids. To provide special art, toys, and school supplies that are designed especially for twins, rather than singletons. Blog
We would be remiss in our duties if we didn’t mention that we have this awesome new blog, which we’ll be making regular contributions to on a large variety of subjects. We’ll not only use the blog to preview upcoming products and announce new products when they launch, but we’ll also use the blog to provide tips and tricks on a wide variety of subjects including coloring, illustration, painting and art in general. We’ll also be doing a regular series on low-fi toys, games and activities to help disconnect your too-connected kiddo from the online world. More importantly, we’ll be working on a series providing decorating tips and “how-to” advice or your nursery or kids rooms. And finally, we hope to be including posts regularly about how to stay inspired and full of gratitude. In fact, whenever I have a spare moment, I hope to be posting a regular feature on what inspired me that day.

FREE Coloring Pages
One of the things we love to do most is draw, illustrate and color. So far, I’ve created over 40 coloring pages and recently launched a brand new fashion coloring book. But we’d love to give something back to the coloring community. So from now on, we’re going to dedicate space on Chub & Bug to FREE coloring pages.That’s right--free coloring pages that will give you and your kids hours of joy. What could be better than that?
